Description: The test installation consisted of 181 ft-3 in (55.25 m) of standard 12-gauge (2.66-mm thick) W-beam supported by steel posts, as shown in Figure 1. Anchorage systems similar to those used on tangent guardrail terminals were utilized on both the upstream and downstream ends of the guardrail system.
